    Abstract
    This report is a summation of all activities/ tasks engaged in during the internship on the construction of the proposed seven storey staff houses’ project in Arua Hospital. The report comprises of four chapters namely; First chapter highlights on the objectives of the internship, project details such as the contract sum, the stake holders. This chapter elaborates on the profile of WAP Engineering Ltd here in referred to as the Contractor and the author’s involvement on the project Second chapter is the acquisition and execution of works. This chapter provides an overview on how the contractor acquired the project, the sequential order of works on site, how the project management aspects i.e. time, cost, quality was ensured and monitored on the project, and how the general contract was being administered. Third Chapter details the challenges, solutions adopted to solve the challenges and the lessons picked while on the project. Chapter Four details the conclusions drawn by the author on the project based on his experience. The Author provide recommendations for the success of the project and to the construction industry as a whole.
