dc.description.abstractThe study aimed at investigating the E-learning coping strategies and the quality of teaching and learning at Ndejje University. The study objectives were; to investigate the e-learning coping strategies used to maintain quality of teaching and learning, to investigate the e-learning coping strategies used in assessing quality of teaching and learning, and to examine the effect of e-learning coping strategies on the quality of teaching and learning in Ndejje University. A Parallel Convergent Mixed design, using a sample of 178 respondents was adopted. Both quantitative and qualitative approaches were used. Purposive and random sampling strategies were used for the lecturers and students respectively. Data was collected with a well-designed structured questionnaires and interview guide. Findings revealed that students adopted virtual study groups and family support while the lecturers partnered with online service providers and upgraded to various e-learning systems. In conclusion, improved student-teacher relationship positively impacted on the quality of Teaching and Learning. The study recommends that Ndejje University should invest in comprehensive professional development and training programs for educators to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge and robust systems for continuous evaluation and feedback.en_US
