    Abstract
This project report contains details of construction of Residential Apartments on Plot 13, Nalubbaale Street, Nyendo-Mukungwe Division, Masaka City. The report focuses on construction project management and contract administration, but also details the activities carried out during the implementation process. Construction activities, tasks in every project phase are only achievable by adhering to the project documents and by adequate supervision. The different tools and techniques used in the actual construction that took place on site are discussed in this chapter, right from initiation stages, substructure, through finishes. The project management techniques employed to manage time, cost and quality are also discussed in detail. This chapter also discusses the Health and Safety, HIV/AIDS aspects on the project. Chapter Three discusses the challenges encountered during project execution of this report. Some of the challenges were at company level while others were at project level. The solutions proposed to address these challenges and lessons learnt are also discussed in this chapter.
