    Abstract
    Rehabilitation of Jubilee was done from July 2021 to August 2022; the work was done by Ibanda municipal council in conjunction with Ministry of Works and Transport as the major funder of the project. The report focuses on construction project management and contract administration, but also details the activities carried out during the implementation of the project. Under Chapter One is discussed the background of the project, its objectives, scope and other project details like the contract sum, duration and the different stakeholders. This chapter also expressly states the author’s involvement on the project as a Civil Engineer/ Project Manager. Chapter Two covers the project execution including the design process, mode of contracting, construction activities and processes. The different tools and techniques used in the actual construction that took place on site. Chapter three covers aspects of project management and administration. The project management techniques employed to manage time, cost and quality are also discussed in detail. Chapter four covers quality control and quality management aspects. Chapter five covers the challenges encountered during project execution and critics of the methodology and finished works. Recommendations to some of the challenges and critics were at individual level, while others were at company level, project level and activity level. Chapter six details the conclusions drawn by the author about execution of works and experiences had drawn during her participation in this project. Additionally, the author makes recommendations on how projects of the same nature can be successfully implemented, going forward, basing on the lessons learnt during the execution of the project.
